Warriors' Stephen Curry still holding strong in NBA MVP voting. Klay Thompson Lakers

Just how strong is Stephen Curry's case for MVP? Even after missing a couple of games with a leg injury, Curry got all first place votes in this week's USA TODAY Sports poll.
In fact, the Golden State Warriors' guard has gotten all first place votes in every poll so far this season.

Curry is averaging 29.7 points per game to lead the league and is shooting 51%. Second in the poll was LeBron James, but right behind him was Kawhi Leonard.

It's easy to see why Curry is running away with the voting. The two-game absence did nothing to slow him down. He scored 30 points in the Warriors win against the Charlotte Hornets Monday night, hitting 12 of his 21 shots.
He has 45 points in the poll. James was second with 27, Leonard had 25, Russell Westbrook had 16, Kevin Durant had 13, Paul George had 8 and Draymond Green had 1.
