Arsenal in talks to buy Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for £42m in January transfer window

Arsenal are in talks with Borussia Dortmund over a £42million deal for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, say reports.
Aubameyang is the most in-form striker in Europe this season, bagging 24 goals in 23 matches and collecting a host of assists.
And now The Sun says an Arsenal intermediary has approached Dortmund to discuss a January transfer of the Gabon international.
The paper adds that Dortmund have slapped a £42m valuation on Aubameyang but says Arsenal are happy to pay that to do business.
Olivier Giroud and Theo Walcott are Arsenal’s only forward options, with Danny Welbeck injured long-term, and getting this deal done could make all the difference in the race to beat Manchester City to the title.
