Tyson Fury had 400,000 extra reasons to smile on Sunday after his heavyweight championship fight against Wladimir Klitschkoin Dusseldorf on Saturday night.
The Manchester-born boxer had placed a £200,000 (approximately $300,000) bet that he would defeat the 39-year-old Ukrainian, reports the Lancashire Evening Post (via Mirror).
To be fair, he stood to make around £5 million just by competing, but it's still a gutsy wager to make.
In the understatement of the week, the Mirror reports that Fury placed the bet with a "wealthy relative."
His uncle and trainer, Peter Fury, confirmed the new heavyweight champion of the world doubled his money with the victory.
